Security Systems Consulting

Our approach toward risks is based on the ISO 31000:2009 framework.

Security planning

Our philosophy is to create a security plan that takes a holistic approach by combining three security elements: architecture, operations, and security systems. This differentiates us from other organizations that understand security only from the security system point of view. Our approach is based on recognized best practices which include two security principles:

  1. Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED)

CPTED leverages environmental elements such as architectural barriers, landscaping, and lighting. When combined with innovative systems, these elements are very effective in deterring crime.

  1. Defence in Depth (DID)

Defence in depth is a layered approach, where the security plan consists of several layers of response that either deter, prevent, or delay an intruder from accessing critical areas. In turn, this makes it more difficult for the intruder to penetrate those areas.

DESIGN

Our approach to security system design starts with a needs assessment. We take the time to work with you to gain a better understanding of your business, operations, and facilities.  Then we design a security system that meets your needs.

You would never dream of designing a building without an architect, so why would you design a security system without the support of a physical security specialist? Security design and implementation by an expert is essential to preparing your organization for the growing threats that face it every day.

Whether your goal is to design a security system for a new construction, or to upgrade an existing one, our security design experts are here to help you get the best results from your security system.
